Dirk Slama is a Vice President at Robert Bosch GmbH, chairman of the digital.auto initiative, conference chair of the Bosch ConnectedWorld, and Editor-in-Chief of the Digital Playbook for OEMs and manufacturers. He is the director of the AIoT Lab at the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Institute, where he also holds a full professorship. Dirk has 25 years of project experience in automotive, aviation, manufacturing, and tel-ecoms. He is co-author of 4 successful books and holds a PhD in Information Sys-tems, an MBA, and a Diploma in Computer Science. 

Dipl.-Ing. Fred Schulze wurde am 24. Februar 1967 in Gardelegen (Sachsen-Anhalt) geboren. Er ist verheiratet und hat einen Sohn.
Fred Schulze studierte an der Universität Magdeburg Produktionstechnik und anschließend Schweißfachingenieurwesen.
Er ist seit knapp 30 Jahren im Volkswagen Konzern tätig und begann 1993 seine berufliche Laufbahn bei der AUDI AG in Neckarsulm. Ab April 1994 übernahm er die Leitung der Qualitätssicherung des A8-Karosseriebaus. Danach arbeitete er zwei Jahre lang bei MAN und kehrte 1998 als Leiter Karosseriebau nach Neckarsulm zurück.
2004 wechselte Schulze zu Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge: Hier verantwortete er unter anderem den Karosseriebau für den Volkswagen Bus und den Porsche Panamera, bevor er 2010 als Fertigungsleiter ins Volkswagen Werk Emden wechselte.
Von 2012 bis 2015 war Schulze erstmals in der Funktion als Werkleiter am Standort Neckarsulm tätig und wechselte anschließend bis Mitte 2016 als Werkleiter nach Ingolstadt. Zwischen 2016 und 2018 war er dort als Baureihenleiter für die Q-Modelle der vier Ringe verantwortlich.
2018 ging Schulze nach China, wo er Executive Vice President für Produktion und Produktmanagement bei SAIC Volkswagen in Shanghai war – einem Joint Venture zwischen Chinas Shanghai Automotive Industry Corp und der Volkswagen AG.
Seit 1. Mai 2021 ist Fred Schulze erneut Werkleiter am Audi-Standort Neckarsulm.
